What was the highlight of Windsong on the Reef
Very relaxing.
The room accommodations were excellent. The whole grounds were kept in excellent shape. Food at the property was very good, i would say well above average. The staff was very very good and attentive. We had a car and went out several nights to other great restaurants on the island. This island is full of them. We had breakfast at one of the tables at the Dunes (the restaurant with tables over looking the ocean. It was very good both service and food. Oh yes, the massage i had was exceptional.
The only issue was the wind... it blew about 18 mph the 4 days we were there and due to the wind the hotel would not let anyone use any of the snorkel equipment. There were many others who brought their own equipment who did snorkel but not us. That was disappointing. The wind was obviously out of the control of the hotel, but other hotels were letting their guests snorkel. Perhaps Windsong should revisit their policy on wind. The pool could have been a few degrees warmer for my wife. 82F i think which is about the same as the ocean. We didn't book any of the excursion boats that take you out snorkeling either which is our mistake... in retrospect we should have to get the snorkeling experience.

The view and proximity to ocean was amazing. Breakfast and dinner facilities were amazing.
Some of the staff were really rude.

Very nice property in a great location in Grace Bay! I'd recommend it!
Great location near everything, reef right in front of the hotel for snorkeling, helpful staff, free breakfast
Free breakfast could have been better, more diverse options. Not much to do on the property...would be nice to have some bocce ball or a ping pong table or some other things to do there. Shouldn't charge us extra to borrow some fins for snorkeling.
